When our founders Tim and Jules realized that their money was running short in 1988 while they were having a great time on the slopes, they came up with an idea to print some t-shirts and sweatshirts, sell them at night, and go skiing during the day. FatFace got its moniker from the name of the black mountain ski route in Val d'Isère called La Face.
