Citarella Store

On Manhattan's Upper West Side, Citarella has been a cherished local seafood shop since 1912. Our tale began in 1983 when Joe Gurrera purchased the establishment. Although the store was little at the time—it only took up a small portion of the current Citarella flagship location's space—Joe saw a chance to expand on his passion for seafood in this beloved local landmark.
